CAR HAS BEEN SOLD
From:
Al Hurt
Spokane, WA. 509-893-1769

(Congratulations new owner-Mike Comer of Indianapolis, IN on a nice looking find ! ! !, and hope to hear from you in the future now that you are an official Barracuda owner)
Here are some pictures and some details, unfortunately the gentleman that sold the car to me has not contacted me since he moved to Boise and retired to get more history on the car.

The car was purchased by me from a gentleman in Post Falls, ID on 07 July 1998 , he had an automobile repair shop there for thirty years so he was a professional. The car was an original 340 4 spd Formula S Car. He decided he wanted a big block 383 car so he did a total restoration to make it a 383 4 spd clone.

The car was a total restoration from the ground up, including new engine with 335 Hp stock, new clutch and rebuilt transmission. The driveline is stock with the u joints replaced and the rear end is a 3.91 sure grip I think. I will have to check the numbers. The exhaust has been replaced with original exhaust tips and it sounds sweet. The interior was completely redone with new carpet, headliner, seats and rear carpet mat, new door panels and dash is in number 1 condition. The brakes are front disc brakes with a new power booster and brake lines. The chrome bumpers are in number 2 condition and the paint is in number 3 condition. It is missing the stock radio but the dash has not been hacked up so a resto or an after market radio could be installed easily. It also has new cooper cobra radials on rally wheels.

Overall, the reason I bought it was that it was the best example of a 1969 fastback I have ever seen, and I have been to Mopar shows all my life. And everybody has a Camaro or a Mustang from that year. I also wanted a big block driver to take to Mopar shows. It has 113,000 original miles and 4500 after ground up full resto.
