Hello
I just joined the list. I own a '69 Barracuda Fastback Formula S 340-4bbl 727 AT with 3:91 Sure Grip. I have owned the car since 1979 and am the second owner.
The car has 140,000 miles on it. The trans is fresh with a trans-go shift kit. The car originally had 3.23 gears in it but they were swapped for 3.91s about 7 years ago. The engine was rebuilt at 75,000 miles due to a blown head gasket. It only needed to be honed so the bore is stock, stock replacement cam, and I run electronic ignition, 600 Holley, and headers to the rear stock tips. Engine is strong, can smoke tires nicely.
The color is dark green with dark green deluxe interior. I had it painted in 1988, bumpers rechromed, trim replaced or rechromed, but the body has a lots of filler. It has been garaged since 1991 and driven occationally on nice days.
Current plans are to rebuild front suspension, install new headers and exhaust, get a new dash pad (or recondition the one I have) and recondition the dash bezel. Man I wish I could just buy a brand new dash bezel??!!!
Looking forward to talking to other 'Cuda owners!
