My name is Michael and I live just outside of Boston. I had a 68 coupe when
I was young, and have missed that car ever since. Well last month I found
my dream. A 68 convertible, and I grabbed it. BH27F8B102789 (If anyone
knows about this car, please let me know.)
The car is in great shape. I have most of the broadcast sheet and the certicard, there is no
fendertag. It is a well optioned car, and has the original 4-speed and sure-grip
axle (3.23:1). The car has power steering, power disc (4 piston) brakes, light
package, rally speedo, tach, console and deluxe interior. The car has air conditioning, but it seems like it was dealer installed. The car is Sunfire Yellow with a black interior. The date code is 730.
The car was originally sold in Georgia, and spent all of it's life in
Georgia and South Carolina, until I brought it to Massachusetts. It looks like an older restoration. It is stock, except for 340 4 bbl intake, Carter AFB
carb, dual exhaust and Mopar Electronic Ignition.
I just used Exotic Car Transport to ship my new 68 Conv from Tampa, Florida to Boston. They really take care of the cars. Their trucks are fully enclosed, and they have an elevator on the back, so the car comes down horizontal. There were two Ferrari's, a Porsche, and a Rolls on the truck with my
Cuda, so that should say something. It cost me $900. Don't know
if that's high or low, but I got my money's worth.
Here's a couple pictures of the car coming off the truck.
