Updated: 10/4/98

So far, I have made 150 Mopar/cuda/hotrod icons. I am not an artist, I just play around with a couple of icon editing programs. I have started volume 2 with another 150 icons!! Send me a picture in jpg format ONLY of your Mopar (in subject line put: PIC FOR ICON)--side views and head-on shots work the best. I will make you a couple of icons to grace your desktop and e-mail them back to you.
Click the buttons to start the download. Downloading takes about 2 minutes each with a 28.8 modem. You must have WinZip to unzip the files. Download WinZip free from the numerous freeware/shareware sites.

VOLUME #1 This is the original file...large, various icon sizes and number of colors... very small images due to size of the cars and the limits of Microangelos' resizing capabilities. Some of the icons are in large formats, some are as big as 128x128 with great detail and colors but huge in file size, and some have blank formats attached to them that has increased the size of the icon file.
VOLUME #1a Corrected the original icon volume#1 with a new icon editor program called Axialis..most images are now 72x72 with 256 colors and what was originally a tiny skinny image is now a squished fat cartoony looking car filling the entire space.
VOLUME #2 Not completed yet (34 so far?), but download if you want...When you see Volume #3 appear, you know this one is done!!

Ok, you say .... I downloaded them ... now what do I do with them??? What I have done (which may not be right -- but it works for me!) is to make a folder in my C: drive called ICONS ---- this is where I store all my icons that I like to use.
Unzip the icon file to that folder ... and keep them there .. do not move them around !!! Now, to use them, I have a bunch of shortcuts on my Windows95 desktop (I hate menus!)I right click on my shortcuts, click on PROPERTIES, then the SHORTCUT tab, then CHANGE ICON.  My Windows95 system icons appear with those generic preloaded icons - yuk! - so now choose BROWSE...using the drop down box choose the C: drive to browse, go to the ICONS folder you made -- and Taa daa - there they are!! Pick an Icon, hit OPEN, and the icon appears in the change icon box, click OK, then APPLY, then OK, and your done. Repeat for each one you want changed. Then for more viewing pleasure----right click on an empty spot on the desktop, go to PROPERTIES, then the APPEARENCE tab, choose ICON from the ITEM drop down box --- and change the size to 72 (maximum size allowed), then APPLY, then OK .... WOW, are they huge now!!!
