Okay, A little history about my car. Like I said I bought it in '81 (when I was 14) for $300. It's a 318 car w/ a blue interior, bench seat, shifter on the column. My dad rebuilt the 318 in '82 (with me handing him tools, lol). Shaved the heads, installed headers and a 340 intake. The car ran 15.3's. Beat alot of cars in high school since the car hooked up so well. Gotta love them Mopars!!!

In '83 I bought a '68 gold coupe slant-six parts car and got the deluxe interior out of it to put in the car. Recovered the seats in blue since the coupe had a black interior. Finally in '85 I got the body and paint done. At the same time I bought new wheels and tires. I was in heaven for sure!!!

These pics are from 1985.

Sad news though...the car got wrecked in '87.
But there is good news finally. I now affectionately call this "Project Barracuda" (pic attached, don't cry, LOL).The car got hit from the side but from the doors back is good still. That was my first car (bought it for $300 back in '81). I loved that car so much that I just couldn't part with it. So I put it in storage @ $65/month and it's still there, LOL.

After it got wrecked I just had to have another Cuda, so.....I found a white '68 fastback that was a rust bucket, but was only $600. A 318 car w/ the deluxe interior (white on gold). Drove it for 2 years (installed a 340 along the way) before the upper A arm brackets rusted totally away from the frame rail, the A-bodies are really bad for that. Car was real rusty elsewhere so I parked it in '89. Still got it too, lol. I moved on to a '74 Dodge Dart. A very nice 318 car w/ low miles. A year later I found another Dart so I decided to redo my 340 that I had in the white Cuda and put the motor in the '74 Dart. She's a sleeper car all the way. Ran 14.2's on white wall tires and stock 340 exhaust. After 3 years the 340 lets loose. Yank the motor out and redo it.

Well ya know how time/money can slip away. This year, I let my friend since junior-high who is a body man talk me into fixing the old blue Cuda. So I'm going to chop up my clean '74 Dart (ouch) to use the frame rails, core support, and the left side inner fender. Going to finally part out the white Cuda to also help "Project Barracuda". Still going to need to find fenders and a right inner fender (since the '74 right inner fender is different than the '68). As it stands right now I've got all the bent parts off the Cuda and I'm going to chop up the Dart soon.

Once I get the car fixed I'll be running a ~400 H.P. 340 in it. The interior is kinda junkie so I will be redoing that too. Oh yea, BTW, I live in St. Peters, MO.
