From: MOPARWALLY

I purchased the car from a man in central Texas in 1990. It was about 85% complete and driveable. Although it looked rough, it was a numbers matching car.

When I got the car home, I replaced the headliner, had the seats redone, and repainted the car blue (it was a spray can gold when I got it). I tuned the engine, installed new transmission bearings, a new clutch, and a 3:55 sure grip and she was on the road !

In 1996 the engine was smoking very badly, so I replaced it with a fresh 383. The only deviations from stock are Comp cams [280 duration 480 lift cam], DP4B intake and 750 Holley double pumper carb. It has a current best e.t. of 13.23@103mph. It still has the original manifolds with flowmasters and exits thru the original exhaust tips.

Originally, this car was almost a no option car. The only options were Formula S package 383, which included 4-piston ft. disc brakes and sway bar, 4-speed, and am radio. It has the basic interior group, and had hub caps (dog bowls) on steel wheels. The color now is not the original, as it was only supposed to be a temporary repaint (back in 1991 ha! ha!) but it is close. After I finish my Little Red Express, I plan on restoring the Cuda and painting it the correct color.
